Director of Mineralocity (Sales & Strategy)
SaaS Sales, Mining Intelligence, & Team Leadership
Location: In Office or Remote Type: Full-Time
The Opportunity: Grow a SaaS product with a safety net. Mineralocity is the leading market intelligence platform for the construction aggregates industry. We are a high-growth SaaS division backed by Burgex Mining Consultants—a profitable, established mineral exploration firm.
We have the product. We have the data. We have the developers. Now, we need the Playbook.
We are looking for a B2B SaaS Marketer to take the helm of Mineralocity. You will lead the division, manage our development/analyst team, and build the revenue engine from the ground up.
The Mission: Automate, Close, and Lead
- Build the Automated Growth Engine (The Flywheel)
- Self-Service First: You will design and execute a digital marketing strategy (SEO, LinkedIn, Email Campaigns) to drive inbound traffic. Your goal is to build a funnel where standard users sign up, onboard, and pay via credit card without needing a human touch.
- Optimization: You own the website conversion rate. You will test messaging, pricing pages, and email workflows to ensure we are capturing volume while you sleep.
- Hunt the “Whales” (High-Value Sales)
- Target the Top Tier: You won’t waste time doing demos for small accounts. You will implement lead scoring to identify high-value prospects (Enterprise/Business Plans at $4,500+).
- Close the Big Deals: You will take the meetings that matter—demoing the platform to executives and closing the high-ticket annual contracts that move the needle.
- Lead the Product Team
- You will step in as the direct manager for our existing team of GIS Analysts and Developers.
- You act as the “Voice of the Customer,” translating market feedback into a clear product roadmap for the dev team to execute.
- The “Strategic Connector”
- You will spot the gaps. When a software subscriber has a complex problem that the platform can’t solve, you identify the opportunity and hand it off to a Burgex industry expert for high-margin consulting (Valuations, Market Studies, Engineering).
Who You Are (The SaaS Native)
- You Speak “SaaS,” Not Just “Sales”: You know the difference between CAC, Churn, and ARR. You understand that low-tier users should be automated and high-tier users need white-glove service.
- You Are a “Player-Coach”: You are comfortable managing a technical team (devs/analysts) but aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty writing ad copy or setting up workflows.
- You Might Not Know Mining (And that’s okay – Bonus if you do!): You bring the growth strategy; we teach you the industry. If you are smart and curious, we can teach you what you need to know about quarries and construction aggregate markets.
The Toolkit (Requirements)
- Experience: 3–5+ years in B2B SaaS Marketing, Growth, or Product Management.
- Tech Aptitude (Teachable): You don’t need to be an expert in our specific tools (we use Monday.com and Google Ads), but you must be “tech-savvy.” You should be comfortable learning new software and figuring out how to navigate a CRM without hand-holding.
- Leadership: Experience collaborating with or managing technical teams (developers/analysts).
Why This Role?
- Autonomy: You are effectively the CEO of this division. You make the strategic decisions on customer acquisitions, sales roadmap, and marketing.
- The Reality (High Stakes): Burgex is profitable and provides the financial runway, but Mineralocity is currently operating at a loss. We need to bridge the gap to profitability. You aren’t just “running” a division; you are fighting to prove its business model and secure its future.
- Impact: You are bringing modern tech to an antiquated industry that is desperate for data.
To Apply: Send us your resume and a brief note on the one B2B marketing tactic you think is most underrated in 2026.

Executive Assistant
Location: Sandy, Utah (In-Office) | Salary: $68,000 – $80,000 DOE
Send Resume to: Careers@burgex.com
The Mission
Burgex Mining Consultants is a dynamic firm that has spent 15 years providing clarity to the mineral resource industry. We are a team of geologists, landmen, and analysts who solve complex challenges across the US West.
The CEO is looking for a “Right Hand.” Currently, the CEO leads all company marketing efforts in addition to executive duties. We need a high-level Executive Assistant who can execute with excellence and act as a force multiplier. Your goal is to own the administrative and operational “noise” so the CEO can focus on high-level growth, Mineralocity, and our marketing strategy.
Job Overview: Your Impact
As the Executive Assistant, your primary objective is to protect the CEO’s time. You aren’t just managing a calendar; you are architecting the CEO’s day to ensure they have the “deep work” blocks needed to drive our marketing, brand expansion, and team leadership.
1. Strategic Execution & Marketing Support
- Marketing Force Multiplier: Assist the CEO in managing marketing workflows. This includes scheduling campaigns, coordinating with vendors, and potentially assisting with basic graphic design or content formatting to keep our brand moving forward.
- Mission Control: Lead the daily CEO/EA sync. Come prepared with the agenda, status updates on marketing/business open loops, and the “questions that need answers.”
- Communication Proxy: Act as the first point of contact for the executive office. Respond to requests with confidence and professional polish to clients and partners.
2. Operational Excellence & Rhythm You will own the operational cadence of the CEO’s office, ensuring the “Creative Space” for marketing is never compromised:
- Daily: Lead the CEO/EA sync; manage high-priority reminders; maintain calendar accuracy.
- Weekly: Issue proactive team reminders to keep Team on-track of expense reports and company wide feedback.
- Monthly: Audit the upcoming 90-day schedule; take ownership of Corporate Minute Notes and gather required activity reports.
- Quarterly: Own the scheduling of 45-minute 1:1s with the team (spaced logically throughout the quarter); lead the logistics for C-Suite Offsites and Team Trainings, including agenda drafting and presentation design.
- Culture: Take full ownership team-building activities or get togethers.
3. Talent & Brand Growth
- Recruitment Liaison: Vett resumes for open roles; decide on next steps (advancing talent to directors or managing declines).
- Brand Ambassadorship: Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts. If you have graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe), you will be a major asset in keeping our brand front-of-mind.
- Project Accountability: Keep track of the CEO’s task list and hold the broader team accountable for assigned deliverables.
The Ideal Candidate
- The “Proactive Mindset”: You see the mountain, not just the rocks. You solve problems before the CEO even knows they exist.
- Creative Awareness: You understand the importance of branding and marketing. You take pride in ensuring documents and posts look professional and “on-brand.”
- Relentless Reliability: You take tasks to 100% completion with high attention to detail.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office; bonus points for Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or experience managing social media platforms.
Requirements & Benefits
- Experience: 3+ years as an EA to a CEO or Founder.
- Bonus: Graphic design skills; experience in mining/mineral exploration; Utah Notary Public.
- What We Offer: 401k match, competitive pay, flexible PTO, and development resources. Hybrid flexibility is available as the schedule allows, but this is primarily an in-office role in Sandy, UT.
To Apply: Send us your resume and a brief note about why you want to work in mining.
