Last week, the Burgex team attended the highly anticipated CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, where we proudly represented our new Mineralocity Aggregates platform. This revolutionary tool offers market intelligence and land research services to the construction aggregates industry across the United States, providing invaluable insights for both market analysis and land research.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 exceeded all expectations, attracting over 139,000 construction and fluid power professionals from 133 countries between March 14 and 18. With more than 2,400 exhibitors from 36 countries occupying over 3 million square feet of exhibit space, the event solidified its position as the largest trade show in North America.

Throughout the show, our team introduced Mineralocity Aggregates to hundreds of attendees, generating significant interest and excitement about the platform. As a fun and memorable way to engage with potential clients, we handed out over 800 toy trucks, which were well-received by visitors.

The trade show was not only an opportunity for us to showcase Mineralocity Aggregates but also a platform for various companies to present their latest innovations in the industry. Key highlights included advancements in electric equipment, autonomous driving, concrete recycling, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Electric equipment and vehicles were a prominent feature at the event, with several manufacturers unveiling their latest battery-powered construction equipment. These machines not only reduce emissions and noise pollution but also offer cost savings due to lower fuel and maintenance requirements. As the industry moves towards a more sustainable future, the adoption of electric vehicles is expected to grow rapidly.

Autonomous driving technology was another key area of focus at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the construction industry by increasing efficiency and safety, while also reducing labor costs. Several exhibitors demonstrated their cutting-edge autonomous machinery, showcasing the immense progress made in recent years and the exciting potential of self-driving equipment on construction sites.

Concrete recycling was another noteworthy innovation showcased at the event. With a growing emphasis on sustainability and reducing waste, companies are now developing new methods and equipment for repurposing used concrete into new construction materials. These advancements help conserve natural resources and minimize the environmental impact of the construction industry.

AI was also a recurring theme at the trade show, as various companies demonstrated how it can be integrated into construction processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and decision-making. From AI-driven predictive maintenance to advanced data analytics for project planning, these innovations are poised to reshape the construction landscape in the coming years.

Overall, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 was a fantastic opportunity to witness the latest industry advancements and gain insights into the future of construction technology. We are excited to see how these innovations will continue to shape the industry and look forward to incorporating them into our Mineralocity Aggregates platform to better serve our clients.
